14th Annual March of Dimes Philadelphia
AIR Awards banquet took place November 1,
2007 at the Philadelphia Hilton City
Avenue. Highlights included the
presentation of the 2007 Lifetime
Achievement Award to John
DeBella of WMGK and the 2007 David L.
Kurtz Broadcast
Leadership Award to Warren
Maurer of Metro-Westwood One. |
** In addition, Milestone
in Radio Awards were given to Colby
Colb of WPHI, Valerie Knight of WOGL, Dave Conant
of WRTI, Harry Donahue of KYW, and Marc Zumoff of
the 76ers broadcast team and WHYY.
** 2007 Young Leaders
honorees were Matthew Shultz of WISX and Marisa
Magnatta of WMMR.
** The winners of College AIR Awards
were saluted.
** And finally, AIR Awards for outstanding radio
performance were handed out to more than 30
category winners.

Funds raised
for the March of Dimes totalled nearly
$75,000, a new record. THANKS TO ALL WHO
