PHILA COLLEGE AIR AWARDS - Judging << BACK

Entries for Philadelphia College Achievement In Radio Awards that meet entry requirements and are received by the stated deadline of October 1, 2008 shall be submitted to volunteer panels of Philadelphia area professionals in radio and related fields. Judges will rank each entry on a 1-to-10 scale in the following areas of assessment:

·Creativity - The degree to which the on-air presentation, production and/or writing stands out from the competition in regard to concepts and presentation.
·Delivery - The manner in which methods, ideas and concepts have been presented.
·Detail - The degree to which all elements of the on-air presentation or production are included.
·Clarity - The degree to which the information or message is easily understood.
·Originality - The degree to which new and exceptional ideas in the on-air presentation, production and/or writing are used.
·Production Values - The quality of the sound, mixing and use of any sound effects, music and sound bites in the entry.
·Overall Presentation - General interpretation of the entry, including any and all intangibles.
·Overall professionalism of entry presentation

An independent auditing firm will verify all judging results. The highest scorer in each category, the winner, will be announced at the annual AIR Awards Banquet.
