Philadelphia March of Dimes AIR Awards 2008 for Achievement In Radio to benefit the Southeastern Pennsylvania Chapter of The March of Dimes	PHILA COLLEGE AIR AWARDS - Rules << BACK Competition open to current full time undergraduate students in communications, media, broadcasting or other relevant major at accredited Philadelphia area colleges or universities. Entries not including signature, phone number and email address of faculty advisor attesting to entrant's eligibility as per the above shall be disqualified. One entry per person or team per category. Entry consists of ONE SUBMISSION on CD, standard audio only. Submissions will not be accepted in digital file formats such as .wav, .MP2, .MP3. Each entry must be labelled with entry's title and length, entrant's name and phone number, and category entered; must include fully executed entry form and check for $20.00 made out to The March of Dimes of Southeastern Pennsylvania. Deadline: 5 p.m. Wednesday October 1st, 2008 at the offices of The March of Dimes (address appears below). Entries will be judged by Philadelphia area professionals in radio broadcasting and related fields as per the Philadelphia College AIR Awards judging parameters. An independent auditing firm will verify all judging results. The highest scorer in each category, the winner, will be announced at this year's AIR Awards Banquet on November 6th, 2008. Materials become property of The March Of Dimes and will not be returned. "Best Original PSA" entrants grant the March of Dimes the right to reproduce their entries for distribution to radio stations without compensation. In addition, entrant's signature on entry form grants The March of Dimes the right to post all winning entries or excerpts thereof on the Philadelphia AIR Awards website www.airawards.org as downloadable audio files. All material submitted must be original work by fulltime undergraduate student(s) created between 10/2/07 and 10/1/08 for broadcast, webcast, podcast or class use. Both the March of Dimes and the Philadelphia AIR Awards Board of Directors reserve the right to refuse, revise or recategorize entries that are incomplete or contain obvious errors.
