The mission of The March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.

The Philadelphia AIR Awards, now in its 16th year, is an annual March of Dimes fund-raising event honoring and celebrating Philadelphia area Achievement In Radio, an event presented by broadcasters for broadcasters to raise money for the Pennsylvania Chapter of The March of Dimes.
